Miguel Angel Herrera is a Mexican director and cinematographer who approaches light as an emotional language. His work seeks out authentic gestures, living atmospheres and moments when everyday life takes on a poetic dimension.

Working across fiction, narrative fashion films, documentaries, music videos and commercials, he explores how movement, texture and space shape the emotional life of an image. His approach centres on human presence, allowing the camera to respond to the performer and leaving room for the unexpected. At the heart of his work is a guiding idea: the epic within the intimate.

In 2026, he directed and shot Inner Light, a narrative fashion film exploring transformation through light, the body and movement. Across his work, he seeks to create images that hold an emotion and remain with the viewer.
